Time again for our bi-monthly ARAN (Animal Rights Advocates of NE) meeting and vegan potluck at Common Root. We’ll be gathering from 6-9 PM on Sunday, March 15th.
If you are able to, please bring a vegan dish (no animal products: no dairy, meat, eggs, honey, etc.) to share. If you are unable to share a dish please come anyway! There should be plenty of food for all. Of course, you don’t have to be a vegan to come — all you need is to be hungry and interested in the animal rights movement.
This month, we are collecting vegan recipes to make our own little cookbook, so bring your favorites! You can bring a recipe whether or not you make it and bring the dish, and of course we still want you to come even if you don’t bring a recipe.
If you’re interested in transitioning to a more ethical lifestyle by eliminating or minimizing animal products there are plenty of people that can offer advice. We’ll spend the first hour eating and socializing, and then we’ll have an informal meeting. Hope to see you there!
(Common Root Mutual Aid Center’s suite 202 is directly upstairs if you come in the east door.)
