Come by & participate in a Collaborative Educational Art Workshop as The Beehive Collective presents: “Graphics for the Commons”
Don’t miss this fast-paced hands-on workshop, Saturday, October 4th, from 10 AM to 2:30 PM pm at Common Root Mutual Aid Center. As always, this event is free & open to the public.
Bees experienced in creating and sharing story-telling art pieces used to “cross-pollinate the grassroots” will run a workshop sharing techniques they use to create their images depicting today’s greatest challenges and inspiring all of us to work for change.
We’ll be taking a break and holding a vegetarian potluck lunch at noon. Feel free to bring drinks or a dish to share.
Since the potluck will be held in the middle of the event, consider bringing food that can sit at room temperature for 2 hours before consumption, or feel free to bring a cooler or crockpot to keep your food cool or warm. We do have some refrigerator space, but it’s limited.
We also have a wonderful Indian Grocery store below our suite, if you’d like to pickup some food to share the day of the event.
We’ll be taking freewill donations for The Beehive Collective if you’d like to contribute to the important & educational work they’re doing.

Join us to work with the Bees to deconstruct some often overwhelming global issues – together – and use metaphors from the natural world to connect social and
