The SO WHAT SLAM is a monthly slam poetry event held in Lincoln, Nebraska. This slam will be held on Saturday July 23, 2016 @ 7:00 pm at The Commons (1239 S 14th St).

We are excited to welcome Annette Billings from Topeka, Kansas as the feature performer this month!

You can also see Annette at Indigo Bridge Books from 3 to 4:30pm the same day, along with our slam master Heather Barnes, for an author reading and book signing event. We hope to see you there!

Slams are held on the 4th Saturday of each month. These are all ages events (although the subject matter of some performances may not be considered appropriate for young children). We do accept donations and there is a $3.00 suggested donation.

The aim of the SO WHAT SLAM is to create an exciting community event that brings the camp, fun, and inclusiveness that the creator of slam poetry intended for slams.
