–CR August Calendar was passed around for edits
–Recruit Fall For Pride (FFP) Vendors & Sponsors. Deadline for participation being Aug. 31st is fast approaching. Send reminder emails to all on your contact list. Add Goldenrod Printing to list of potential FFP sponsors?
–Red Cross FFP Booth. Voted to allow Red Cross indoor space in the Auld Pavilion, along the north wall, to demonstrate “hands only CPR” during FFP.
–CR Meeting Frequency. Voted to continue meeting every other week on Thursday nights until September, when CR will change to weekly meetings on Thursday nights during September. In October CR will meet the first two Thursday’s of the month and skip the last two weeks. Beginning Thursday, Nov. 2nd, CR will meet, and continue meeting, every other Thursday night.
–Podcast Party. Discussed holding event in which podcast(s) are viewed and discussed.
FFP Vendor Apps.
*Rachel Miller – booth approved.
*Spring Creek Prairie Audobon Center – booth approved.
*Bailing Out Benji – booth approved with condition that they hopefully not display photos/passouts of distressed animals.
*Penguin Pit Stop – booth approved.
–James Nocito (artist). Jamesnocito.com. Traveling exhibit honoring those slain in the Orlando, FL. Pulse nightclub shooting. Discussed CR hosting this exhibit at our space or partnering/promoting with another organization/venue in Lincoln to host this exhibit.
–FFP Raffle. Voted to approve a 50/50 raffle during FFP in which monetary donations are split 50/50 with winner of the raffle. Numerous booths are also conducting their own raffles for prizes displayed at their individual booths.
–FFP Outdoor Entertainment Update. Radio station KZUM is responsible for securing outdoor stage entertainers and several possibilities for acts were discussed.
–Ivanna Cone Community Cone. Erica volunteered to contact Ivanna Cone to see if they once again will have a presence at FFP. Bob volunteered to contact Indigo Bridge for a second time, even though they had already signed up for FFP prior to his first contact.

*Nebraska Book Festival booth on July 15th
CR took in $28. $20 vendor fee to sell merch.
CR supplied the Nebraska Book Festival with 50 free buttons.
The Book Festival was very generous in listing CR as a Partner/Sponsor online and in printed posters and programs for this event.
