Fall For Pride Planning Meeting

We’re gearing up to plan Fall For Pride 2018 and seeking committee chairs and volunteers to help make it happen.

Fall For Pride is a locally organized festival showcasing local vendors, artists & entertainers. Admission is free. This family-friendly event is for people of all ages, with an emphasis on building a QUILTBAG (Queer/Questioning, Undecided, Intersex, Lesbian, Transgender/Transsexual, Bisexual, Allied/Asexual, Gay/Genderqueer) inclusive space.

Join us at our first 2018 planning meeting:
Thursday, March 29th
at Foundry (formerly Nonprofit Hub)
211 N. 14th Street, 2nd Floor – Narnia room
7:30 PM

Committees seeking volunteers include:

-Entertainment: Led by Entertainment Chair, the Entertainment committee is responsible for the coordination of mission-related entertainment for Fall for Pride.

-Outdoor Stage Manager (full description of responsibilities available upon request)
-Indoor Stage Manager (full description of responsibilities available upon request)

-Sponsorship: Led by the Sponsorship Chair, the Sponsorship committee is responsible for the recruitment of sponsors and vendors.

-Logistics: Led by the Logistics chair, the Logistics committee is responsible for the planning and implementation of Fall for Pride event experience plan. This includes adherence to local/state laws and regulations, safety planning, ensuring adequate supplies and volunteers, etc.

-Graphic Designer – Responsibilities: Design 2-3 promotional items and 1-2 event day materials.

-Publicity: Led by the Publicity Chair, the Publicity committee is responsible for the creation and implementation of a publicity plan for before, during, and after Fall for Pride.
