Community Support Circle

Going through a rough time? Feeling like no one could possibly understand what you’re going through? You might be surprised by the warmth and kindness of others just like you!

The Common Root Community Support Circle was created to give folks a place to talk about what’s troubling them in safe environment where they will be listened to and supported on their journeys. Our next circle will be held Sunday, September 18th from 10 AM – Noon at Common Root Mutual Aid Center (3140 O Street, Suite 202).

Circles will be facilitated by a few Common Root folks and others are welcome to jump in with topics for discussion, ice-breakers, and encouragement. We’ll ask that any information shared within the Circle does not leave it and that everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

We’d love to see you there. 🙂

A collection station will be setup at Common Root immediately following Community Support Circle on Sunday. If you have a dollar (or more) to donate to STOP the Dakota Access oil Pipeline (DAPL), this is a convenient way to do it.

100% of the dollars donated will be forwarded to BOLD Nebraska.

“Bold Nebraska is collecting donations to help support direct needs and creative actions for the Pipeline Fighters at the Spirit Camp, as well as to help defray legal costs for those participating in nonviolent direct actions in Iowa.

Bold Nebraska has a staff member on the ground (Bold Oklahoma coordinator Mekasi Camp Horinek) who is helping to coordinate actions.” –BOLD Nebraska
