Love to color? So does Lacey Losh! She recently published her first adult coloring book, entitled “Libraries Around the World Coloring Book.” Now she’s ready to celebrate!
Join Lacey at Common Root on Sunday, January 24th from 2-4 PM for a colorful afternoon. Bring your favorite coloring books and art supplies, or choose from our selection. We’ll have plenty of coloring sheets, colored pencils, crayons and gel pens available to share. Other forms of creative expression will be encouraged, too!
This is a free, all-ages event!
Most of us colored often as children, and many are excited for a grown-up excuse to take up the practice again. The mental and social benefits of coloring are extensive, and may include reduced anxiety, increased focus and mindfulness and a more relaxed mental state. Coloring with others can also decrease social anxiety and insecurities.
